Once again supplier of examination software for Financial Supervision Act (Wft) examinations Optimum Assessment (formerly Citrus Andriessen) has once again been awarded the European tender for examination software for the Wft examinations. It was a challenging process led by the Education Executive Agency (DUO) and supervised by the Financial Services Expertise Board (CDFD). From left to right: Angel Kosters, Rob Bergevoet, Johan Ploeger, Rob Smeding, Frederik Bos, Marian Meijer, Erik Mulder, Fazilet Beekveldt, Ralf Spiering, Sanne Velthuis, Henk Scholten, Bob de Graaf and Meint de Vries. Financial Supervision Act The Financial Supervision Act (Wft) regulates the supervision of almost the entire financial sector in the Netherlands. The Wft brings together a large number of rules and regulations for the financial markets and their supervision. Anyone who provides financial advice to clients is required to obtain a diploma and take a Continuing Professional Education exam once every three years. Professionalisation of the examination system In recent years, Optimum Assessment has already supplied the examination software for the Wft examination system. During this period, many procedural improvements have been implemented in close cooperation within the system.., including in the area of fraud prevention. Drawing on its many years of experience and expertise in the field of digital testing, Optimum Assessment not only developed the software, but also played a supporting and advisory role. All of this was done in close and very pleasant cooperation with DUO and the CDFD. Thorough preparation A new tender always involves uncertainty and risk. After all, every tenderer is equal. In preparation for this tender, Optimum Assessment has therefore pulled out all the stops to achieve an optimal tender. In addition, it was decided to use various modules from the completely new and innovative assessment software, Optimum Assessment Platform, to be included in the tender. This made the practical test with all chain partners, which was part of the tendering process, even more exciting. Live broadcast After a challenging migration process, we finally went live with the new assessment software at the beginning of October! Going live presented a number of challenges. Thanks to the highly constructive collaboration with DUO and the various examination boards, we were able to quickly identify the issues. As a result, candidates were hardly affected. For us, this is a fantastic result after months of hard work. “We are proud to once again be able to use our expertise for examinations in the Wft system. The fact that we can do this with our new examination software, Optimum Assessment Platform, makes it even more special for us,” says Martin van den Berge, Managing Director of Optimum Assessment.
