Munich, 7 July 2023 – Optimum Assessment, the expert in digital examinations and certifications, has been authorised since June 2023 to Fraunhofer Institute for Personal Certification (hereinafter referred to as Fraunhofer) to its partners calculate. Fraunhofer certifies in various fields, both for career starters and for professional growth. Fraunhofer has opted for the Optimum Assessment Platform and thus for the further digitisation of its examinations. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology for the Optimum Assessment Platform, digital examinations are not only secure, reliable and intuitive for examiners and participants, but also GDPR-compliant and fully interactive. Nine powerful modules make it easy to design, host, monitor, assess and analyse examinations. About Fraunhofer Promoting technical and business education and training is, alongside applied research, a central task of the Fraunhofer Society. Fraunhofer supports the Society's various institutes with both organisational and personnel tools to ensure high-quality examinations and certifications for participants. Fraunhofer certifies qualifications in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN ISO 17024. The certificates confirm objectively demonstrated competencies, relevant and innovative practical knowledge and practical experience in the respective training areas. According to ISO 17024, important quality standards for a certification body in examinations and certifications are “objectivity”, “impartiality” and “non-discrimination”. Fraunhofer guarantees this through a strict organisational and personnel separation between training, examination and certification. This enables Fraunhofer certificates to be awarded to participants in Fraunhofer training courses. Compliance with the standards is ensured by the German national accreditation body (DAkkS). DAkkS annually audits Fraunhofer's work processes based on the requirements of ISO 17024, as well as the quality of its examinations and certification services.
