Optimum Assessment is a trademark of Citrus Andriessen BV. This privacy statement applies to all websites of Citrus Andriessen, including www.optimumassessment.com. This active website provides a clear link to this privacy statement.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires organisations that process personal data to provide clear information to data subjects (the persons whose data is being processed) about this processing. By means of this statement, Citrus Andriessen, as controller, complies with this information obligation.

Citrus Andriessen attaches great importance to the correct and careful handling and security of personal data. The organisation therefore complies with all the requirements of national and European privacy legislation.

What will your personal data be used for?

Your personal data provided via the website, by email or in writing, can be used by Citrus Andriessen for the following purposes:

  • making contact, among other things for customer satisfaction surveys or market research, or the answering of questions or providing advice / information upon request;
  • processing (open) job applications or reactions to vacancies;

Legal basis for the processing

Each of these purposes has its own legal basis for processing. These legal bases are:

  • the consent granted by you (e.g. for sending the newsletter);
  • the taking of measures at your request prior to the conclusion of an agreement (e.g. for the processing of job applications);
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement entered into with you (e.g. for the performance of our service agreements);
  • the processing is necessary for us to be able to comply with a legal obligation (e.g. for the legal storage and registration obligation, also for tax purposes);
  • the processing is necessary for the protection of the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party.

Where Citrus Andriessen processes personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

Where Citrus Andriessen processes personal data on the basis of the weighing of interests, Citrus Andriessen will make the legitimate interests explicit and communicate these to the data subjects.

Where processing is carried out on the basis of a legal or contractual obligation, or the processing is a necessary condition for the conclusion of an agreement and/or the data subject is obliged to provide the personal data, the data subject will be informed of this efore processing and it will also be made clear what the consequences are if the data subject does not provide these data. Of course, Citrus Andriessen will only ask for those personal data that are necessary for achieving the purposes described.

Retention periods

Citrus Andriessen limits the storage of personal data to the period strictly necessary,
whereby the following applies:

  • When processing personal data for the execution of an agreement: as long as the agreement is in force. After termination of the agreement the data will be removed, unless the personal data is still relevant because of a post contractual relationship or otherwise.
  • In the case of job applications: as long as the procedure is ongoing. At the end of the procedure, the data will be deleted after four weeks at the latest, unless permission is given for the data to be retained. In that case the data will be retained for another year.
  • For general contact requests: as long as there is continuous contact on one and the same subject. After a contact request has been closed, the data will be deleted after four weeks at the latest.
  • When subscribing to the newsletter and/or other content publications: as long as one is subscribed to the medium in question and consent for processing has been granted. In the event of cancellation or withdrawal of consent, the data will be deleted within four weeks.

Individual rights

Under the privacy legislation you have various individual rights which you can invoke. These include the right to inspection/copy, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten), the right to limit the processing concerning the data subject, the right to object and the right to transfer data. These rights are not absolute, in the sense that they must always be respected in all cases. Citrus Andriessen will inform you within one month after the submission of a request to exercise a right, of the follow-up given to this request or any extension required before it can be granted. The exercise of your right(s) is in principle free of charge and can be done by submitting a request via the contact details mentioned in this statement. However, the right to object to the use of data for direct marketing purposes is absolute. Unsubscribing from our newsletter or any other commercial communication addressed directly to you will thus be fully respected.

Citrus Andriessen has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. Thus, only the necessary persons have access to the data and our security measures are effective and regularly checked.

The newsletter’s subscriber database will not be provided to third parties.
