Optimum Assessment once again supplier of integration exam software

Optimum Assessment (formerly Citrus Andriessen) has won the European tender for the supply of examination software for the integration exams of the Education Executive Agency (DUO). This is the third time in a row that Optimum Assessment has won the tender for this large-scale and complex testing project. The integration exams are of great social importance and require a secure and user-friendly approach. DUO and Optimum Assessment are pleased to take on this challenge together again in the coming years.   

Integration exams

DUO carries out work on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) in the context of integration. In this context, DUO's Integration Service Centre organises and administers integration exams for newcomers to the Netherlands. These exams are administered at various DUO test locations. This takes place not only in the Netherlands, but also in 88 other countries.

 

Examination software

Optimum Assessment's software enables the creation, administration and assessment of examinations. “We have been supplying examination software to DUO, and this is important to us. It is large in scope and complex. We supply examination software for all kinds of sectors, from hospitality to estate agents, but the integration exam is undoubtedly the exam with the greatest social significance and the greatest impact on the candidates,” says Martin van den Berge, Managing Director of Optimum Assessment.

Signing moment

And then the moment of signing arrives, albeit via WebEx. On 24 November 2020, Harmen Harmsma, director of the Education Executive Agency (DUO), and Martin van den Berge sign an agreement that will ensure DUO has access to high-quality exam software for years to come.
