Zoetermeer, 23 November 2023 – Employees of SVH (Stichting Vakbekwaamheid Horeca) and Optimum Assessment have joined forces to make a difference in the life of a special family in Zoetermeer. This initiative is part of the Optimum Assessment loyalty programme, in which we join forces with one of our clients twice a year to engage in socially responsible activities. In the second half of 2023, SVH was voted Optimum Assessment's most loyal client. That is why we have joined forces to support a social activity in their home town of Zoetermeer.

Wallpapering and painting

With the principle of ‘helping where help is needed’, the teams from Optimum Assessment and SVH rolled up their sleeves and helped a family from Zoetermeer redecorate and repaint two rooms in their home.

Enthusiastically getting started

The day began with a warm welcome by Gerda Griffioen of Stichting Present at the family's flat. After a warm introduction and an overview of the work to be done, the tasks were divided up and the volunteers enthusiastically set to work. Hanneke Westland, Reinier Mostert, Nancy Biere-Broeren (SVH) and Martijn van Herk and Rob Bergevoet (Optimum Assessment) made this day a great success.

Sustainability & social entrepreneurship

At Optimum Assessment, we are consciously engaged with issues such as sustainability and social entrepreneurship. We want to gradually integrate these values into all our daily activities wherever possible. With our loyalty programme, we are taking concrete steps in the right direction.

Learning from resilience

Rob Bergevoet, Operational Excellence Officer at Optimum Assessment, said of this initiative: “It was a privilege to support this family and work together with our partner. SVH. This day was not only an opportunity to help, but also to learn from each other. We are already looking forward to next year's events, when we will be tackling a similar CSR project in their region with two of our partners. We can't wait!”
